What is the Special Operations Association

The Special Operations Association Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity established by the Special Operations Association (SOA).  The Special Operations Association is a non-profit 501(c)(19) Veteran Service Organization that has over 1,900 active members who are located throughout the United States and various countries around the world.
The Special Operations Association is a fraternal organization whose members are combat veterans of the entire Special Operations community who have served in qualifying special operations combat from WWII to the present era, and includes qualifying unit members and veterans of US Army Special Forces, US Navy SEALS, USMC Special Operations, USAF Special Air Warfare units, and members and veterans of certain other US Government military and paramilitary units. Veterans of qualifying Allied Special Operations units may also become members.  For more information on qualifying units, click here to contact the SOA.

What We Do

The Special Operations Association Foundation raises tax-deductible revenue in order to provide the free services listed in our mission statement through corporate and individual donations.
The Foundation also partners with other charities in order to provide tailored and efficient direct support. Additionally, the Foundation raises awareness of the sacrifices and struggles of our SOF Warriors and their families.

Who We Help

Your donation helps to provide suicide prevention, education, well-being and survivor assistance to SOF veterans.
To date, over 200 young men and women have been awarded The George C. Morton Memorial Scholarship Grant awarded by the Special Operations Association (SOA).
